Dear Valley Village Resident,
I sincerely hope that this note reaches you and your family in good health. We are all navigating uncharted waters and, I believe, that we are all in this together even if we are separated physically.
Instead of sharing sales activity for VALLEY VILLAGE this month, I am enclosing some information for homeowners who might be experiencing financial hardship due to Covid-19. The Governor announced “Eligible homeowners would be able to defer mortgage payments for at least three months and perhaps longer if they suffer hardship due to the pandemic. Any late payments would not be reported to credit agencies.”

As you can imagine, the “stay at home order” has presented us with challenges to function as we previously would have. Rest assured, we are still able to conduct real estate transactions! As much as possible is to be done remotely, digitally, or without contact. We have inspectors that will conduct unaccompanied inspections, banks have appraisers that can provide required appraisals, and the LA county recorder has shifted to a 100% electronic recording process to be able to transfer ownership and close sales.
I want to share with you that I am utilizing this time to earn special designations from the National Association of Realtors. I am obtaining my SFR® (Short Sales & Foreclosure Resource) certification, as well as SRS (Seller Representative Specialist) designation to continue to offer exceptional service to our community.
